SYNOPSIS
Samuel is a young boy stuck in a wheelchair, living with his mother Elena at “Villa dei Laghi”, a secluded mansion surrounded by the woods. Trapped in his family routine and strictly prohibited from leaving the house, Samuel grows up apparently protected but unhappy and restless. However, life in the Villa is increasingly beset by strange and disturbing events, until the arrival of Denise, a teenage girl, disrupts the family’s equilibrium for good.

THE DIRECTOR:

Born in Bari in 1981, in 2009 Roberto De Feo directed his first short film Ice Scream, which was selected at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. In 2014 he directed the short film Child K, with which he won a special mention at the Siver Ribbons 2015. In 2016 he was chosen to participate in the Bienniale College. The Nest is his first feature film.
